Stevenage - Stevenage is a large town positioned north of London and in the county of Hertfordshire (Herts) within the Home Counties region, near the A1(M) motorway, it houses a population of about 84,200 and was proclaimed as the first of the 'New Towns' in nineteen forty six composed of 6 independent neighbourhoods, the 1st of which was completed in 1951 (Monks Wood and Stoney Hall).
