Stevenage - Stevenage is a medium sized town established to the north of the city of London within the county of Hertfordshire (Herts) part of the Home Counties region, beside the A1 (M), it houses a population of approximately 85,000 and was selected as the first of the 'New Towns' in the nineteen forties having six independent estates, the first of which was finished in nineteen fifty one (Monks Wood and Stoney Hall).
