Stevenage - Stevenage is a sizeable town based to the north of London and in the county of Hertfordshire (Herts) within the Home Counties region, beside the A1 (M), it houses a population of approximately 84,200 and was proclaimed to be the very first of the 'New Towns' in the mid-nineteen forties consisting of six independent communities, the earliest of which was completed in 1951 (Monks Wood and Stoney Hall).
